Goodbye August =(
I got back from the States last Monday, and got to work on Tuesday. But I never thought that it would be August's last day at work. I have heard of his resignation a week earlier, but I never thought it would be THAT soon... He's one of the most fun people at the workplace, and though I never got really close to him, I've always felt so comfortable talking to or joking with him. We won't be the same without him, and he will really be missed.
I hope he succeeds in the path he chose. :)
Here's a picture of him that I made for his birthday:
Let me share with you my journeys as I discover more about the Philippines and its wonders. You will find interesting places I've visited here in the Philippines, and may this guide you in your own journeys. I've included Philippine vacation spots I've visited, Restaurants in the Philippines I've dined at, interesting places I've been to, and even my thoughts on Philippine mentality and Philippine politics.
I always remember my roots. And being an Ilongga, I want to share our dialect (Hiligaynon) with everyone. I hope it somehow bridges the communication gap between all Filipinos.
Enjoy your stay and please, let us explore the Philippines together!
